Is driving a huge reponsibility?

Do you think learning how to drive is a huge responsibility?Are seventeen-year-olds mature enough so as to do so? Driving as a teenager has as positive as negative aspects.

On the one hand, it is true that driving in the streets now-a-days is really difficult. Not only do teengagers  have to me very responsible, but hey also should pay a lot of attention at the moment of driving, since other people do not respect the rules. Therefore, they can cause you being involved in a car accident, without being your fault. This may result on severe damage to your health and even death. Whatsmore, if you do not have experience enough, you could be the one that ends up killing someone, in worst cases. Another disadvantage of driving is that you have to get your license. And in Argentina at least, if you do so when you are 17, at 18 you must do it again, and pay for it again.

On the other hand, it is an advantage for seventeen-years-olds to know how to drive since they can manage on their own way, without being dependent from their parents. Because they are almost adults, so they have to prepare themselves for the real life. Moreover, not all teenagers are not prepared for driving and its responsibilities, since many of them actually are in conditions of doping so, ad they are able of getting to their destiny without being involved in any type of accident.

To conclude, it depends on the maturity and the responsibility of each teenager. But if they are determined to learn and drive safely, then they will succeed in it.
