Graphic Sequence

In the language class with Andrea, we created a graphic sequence using “storyboard.that”. Here, we have included the following characteristics of gothic novels:
- The firt slide shows an atmosphere of mystery and loneliness as that represents how Steve feels living in a “humanless” atmosphere in which he cant socialize with anybody.
- The third slide portrays a scenery of terror and suspense, since the spirals appear as a synonym of uncertainty regarding what is going to happen. Steve is afraid of the spirals that appeared on the screen istead of the movie.
- In the fifth slide, we can see a supernatural atmosphere because everything starts getting dark once again. This is unexplainable and scary since at first he arrives at this colorful place and suddenly, it gets depressive.
- In the last slide we can see an imaginative world inside Steve, as we finally understand that the places where he arribes in cant be “merry” and colorful. Maybe this is because Steve feels he doesnt belong in happy places. And thats why he turns all the joyful places into sad ones.
